June 2019 Concert
HSO’s June concert celebrates some of the very best-known works in British music, and might just introduce you to a few new delights too.
The first half will feature composers as diverse as Vaughan-Williams, Coates, Holst, and the wonderfully named Ronald Binge. We can guarantee you’ll know the tunes even if you don’t recognise the names.
The second half will feature all the traditional Proms highlights – and also Agatha, from the score to a movie about Agatha Christie. The composer here is Howard Blake, best known as the composer of The Snowman.
Always a favourite in the HSO season, this year’s summer concert promises to be a fantastic evening.
